Acceptance
By creating an account or registering through the portal, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you register on behalf of someone else, such as a guest or family member, you agree to these Terms for them and confirm you have their permission. If you do not agree, please do not use the portal.
Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 to create an account. Children may attend only when registered by a parent or guardian.
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us right away at info@efbcconference.org if you think someone else has used it.
- We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.
Registration, fees and payment
Registration fees, guest and family fees, and activity fees are shown in the portal when you register. Your registration is complete once it is submitted and paid.
Card payments
Card payments are made through Intuit QuickBooks. After you register, you receive a QuickBooks invoice and pay it on Intuit's secure payment page. A 3.5% card processing fee is added to card payments. EFBC does not receive or store your card number. Intuit's terms apply to the payment itself.
Check payments
Make checks payable to EFBC Conference, Inc. and mail them to the address shown on the payment page in the portal. Please include your name and invoice number. No processing fee applies to checks. Your check must arrive by the deadline of the rate you registered under.
Cancellations, refunds and substitutions
To cancel, submit a cancellation request in the portal or email info@efbcconference.org. Refunds are based on the date we receive your request:
| Request received | Refund |
|---|---|
| On or before March 9, 2027 | 100% |
| March 10 to March 23, 2027 | 75% |
| March 24 to April 6, 2027 | 50% |
| After April 6, 2027 | No refund |
These percentages apply to registration, guest, family and activity fees. The 3.5% card processing fee is not refundable. Refunds go back to the original payment method. EFBC may make exceptions at its discretion.
Instead of cancelling, you may transfer a paid registration to another person at no charge, in the portal or by contacting us. Activity bookings do not transfer with the registration.
If EFBC cancels the conference, we will refund your fees or move them to the following year's conference. The card processing fee is not refundable.
Code of Conduct
Every attendee must accept the EFBC Code of Conduct when registering. It applies at all conference sessions, meals, activities and related events. EFBC may cancel the registration of, or remove from the conference, anyone who breaks it. Any refund is at EFBC's discretion. Read the Code of Conduct.
Acceptable use
When using the portal, you agree that you will not:
- Register with false information or register someone without their permission.
- Try to access another person's account or data, or any part of the portal you are not authorized to use.
- Copy, collect or export attendee information for marketing, solicitation or any purpose unrelated to the conference.
- Interfere with the portal, upload harmful code, or try to get around its security.
- Use the portal in a way that breaks any law.

QuickBooks connection (staff)
This section applies to EFBC staff who administer the portal. The portal connects to EFBC's QuickBooks Online company through Intuit's authorization process. Once connected, the portal finds or creates a customer record for each registrant, creates and voids invoices for registrations, and reads invoice and payment status so attendee records stay up to date. It does not access other parts of EFBC's books.
An authorized administrator can disconnect QuickBooks at any time from the Payments tab on the admin Customization page, or from the Apps section of QuickBooks Online. Disconnecting stops new invoices from being created and revokes the portal's access. Existing QuickBooks records stay in QuickBooks.
Intellectual property and license
The portal, the website, and their content, logos and design belong to EFBC or its licensors. EFBC grants you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the portal to register for and take part in EFBC conferences. You may not copy, modify, resell or reverse engineer the portal. Information you submit stays yours, and you allow EFBC to use it as described in the Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
We work to keep the portal accurate and available, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise it will be error-free or uninterrupted. Conference schedules, speakers, activities and venues may change. Third-party services such as Intuit QuickBooks, Brevo and Microsoft Azure are governed by their own terms, and EFBC is not responsible for their performance.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, EFBC, Global RCBI and their directors, staff and volunteers are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the portal. Our total liability for any claim related to the portal is limited to the registration fees you paid for the conference involved.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of Orange County, Florida.
Changes
We may update these Terms. We will change the effective date above, and for significant changes we will notify registered users by email. Using the portal after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
